Inspired by the poet Basho I have decided to write haiku to leave scattered during my daily wanderings for people to find. Basho pinned his haiku to trees and doorways. I will carry a pad of Post-It notes and photograph each haiku as I leave it. The haiku will have this blog address and the Twitter hashtag #haikupath
If you feel like joining me, then leave your own haiku for people to enjoy. You're welcome to share your haiku on this blog in response to mine or on Twitter with #haikupath
And so The Haiku Path begins, somewhere at night on a London postbox.
The haiku path starts
Not with pavements or footsteps -
With scraps of paper
